The North Shore Daily Post is an independent source of local news and opinion. It covers communities of the North Shore in British Columbia, Canada, where it used to be distributed free of cost as a print publication with its earlier name The Global Canadian. It also provides a curated coverage of global issues.
Gagandeep Ghuman is the editor and publisher of the North Shore Daily Post. He studied journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto and has worked at several big and small newspapers across Canada. He also published a community newspaper, The Squamish Reporter, from Squamish in British Columbia for several years. He has been shortlisted thrice for his investigative stories by the Canadian Association of Journalists for their annual awards.
