4.6 Earthquake strikes near Washington; tremors felt in BC

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck near Washington, USA, at 5:02 a.m. local time, sending tremors across parts of the United States and Canada. The quake’s epicenter was located 12 kilometres from Washington, with shaking reported in Seattle, Vancouver, and surrounding areas.

There are no immediate reports of significant damage or injuries. This is the second earthquake in the past two weeks to rattle BC.

    Felt it here in Lions Bay BC. Didn’t last as long as the one last week, but enough to wake me up !
