Pure Living Bond Street has applied to redevelop a site near Phibbs Exchange.
The application proposes 65 market rental apartments in a six-storey building with parking for 28 vehicles in an underground parkade.
The development is located at 1541-1557 Bond Street
This application is a revision of a previous detailed application, but that application was closed on July 10, 2020.
The site is comprised of four single-family residential lots located mid-block on the south side of Bond Street between Mountain Highway and Orwell Street.
The proposal also includes a portion of DNV lane to the south of the site which will be closed if the project proceeds.
Surrounding properties include single-family residential lots to the north, east and west, while the Creekstone Care Centre is to the south.
The project is also contributing 5 metres for a future pedestrian and cycling connection that was identified in the Lynn Creek Park.
If the project proceeds, it will require rezoning and an Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment.
It will also require a development permit for creek hazard, form and character of commercial, industrial, and multi-family development, and energy and water conservation and greenhouse gas emission reductions.
