71-year-old North Van woman dies from injuries in accident

West Vancouver police investigators are renewing their appeal for witnesses following the tragic death of a 71-year-old North Vancouver woman, who was struck by a vehicle last week.

The incident occurred on January 19, 2022, at approximately 1:25 pm, at the intersection of 13th St and Bellevue Ave. When officers arrived, they determined that the woman had been struck by a vehicle while she was crossing 13th St.

The driver of the vehicle, a 56-year-old man from West Vancouver, remained on scene. Tragically, the woman later succumbed to her injuries.
