The Sea to Sky Highway is closed in both directions due to an accident north of Alice Lake.
The assessment is in progress, said DriveBC in a tweet.
Please expect delays and congestion.
In an earlier tweet, the agency said the vehicle incident happened southbound near the Cheekeye River bridge, north of Squamish.
A Squamish youth died in an accident on June 28 in the area north of Alice Lake, and three others were injured in the crash.
