From Monday, October 3 to Friday, October 7, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., there will be additional parking restrictions and a full road closure on Argyle Avenue between 14th Street and 15th Street.
These road closures are to facilitate BC Hydro work at the Ferry Building Gallery.
This work is anticipated to take up to five days to complete; however, the construction timeline is subject to change dependent on weather and contractor availability. The road closures are due to the restoration work being done at the 108-year-old Ferry Building.
The restoration work began during the week of May 10, 2021 and is scheduled to be complete in summer 2022. Eight parking spots beside the Ferry Building Gallery will be closed throughout the construction phase of the project to accommodate the construction activity.
Traffic and pedestrian flow, as well as other parking disruptions to the north of the gallery on Argyle Avenue, will occur intermittently during construction activity.
