Utility work planned on Highway 1 will lead to road closure on both directions this coming Sunday, according to an update by Drive BC.
Utility work is planned at Cassiar Tunnel this Sunday, December 20 at 10 am.
Road closure is being planned, and lane control and safety systems testing will be in place.
It will continue until December 21 at 4 am.

Meanwhile, Bridge maintenance work is planned at Port Mann Bridge in Surrey.
The work starts on Tuesday, December 22, at 6 am, and continues until 1:30 pm.
HOV lane will be closed, and drivers are being advised to watch out for traffic control personnel.
