The District of West Vancouver will re-open Ambleside Par 3 golf course on Friday, June 5 with revised operating protocols.
The facility is one among the several facilities in the district that were shut down by the district in March.
District re-opened the Gleneagles Golf Course on May 1 with revised operating protocols, as advised by the health authorities.
The District of West Vancouver is gradually re-starting services that were closed as a result of COVID-10.
The district says it has developed a decision-making model that will provide for a safe and thoughtful resumption of services.
“The first, and most important deciding factor when considering restarting any service is the safety of residents, businesses and staff,” district said.
Payment at the golf course will be accepted by card only, preferably by tap. Golfers are also asked to stand in the designated area while waiting to pay, and to watch for markings at tees to maintain distance.
Rental equipment will be sanitized after each use, and ball washers have been removed. Golfers are being asked to not share equipment and to not touch flags on the greens.
