The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission and the District of North Vancouver are seeking an artist or artist team to design and fabricate a public art project for integration into the new Delbrook Lands Neighbourhood Park.
The public art project created for the Delbrook Lands Neighbourhood Park will create a socially engaging park element that sparks dialogue, intrigue and provide ongoing interest for park users. It is envisioned that the public art project will be at or near the spray park, but the project team is open to considering ideas for alternate locations.
This public art call invites expressions of interest from Canadian Artists or Artist Teams that that have the creative expertise and technical skills necessary to manage all phases of the public art process. An understanding or familiarity with playground safety standards would be an asset.
