La Taqueria will close its North Vancouver restaurant on Saturday, August 30, as the business consolidates operations at its new commissary kitchen in Vancouver.

The company announced the closure in a social media post this week, saying the North Vancouver spot’s final day will be marked with a “last taco fiesta” for the community on Saturday.

“It truly has been our pleasure serving you and being a part of the lovely neighbourhood and community,” La Taqueria wrote.

The commissary kitchen has already moved to Comedor by La Taqueria on Yukon Street in Vancouver. The restaurant group said it is also preparing to open its next Pinche Taco Shop on Seymour, with details to be announced soon.

La Taqueria thanked customers for their support over the years and encouraged fans to visit the North Vancouver location one final time before the doors close.
