March 26, 2022 1:12pm

A BC AMBER Alert has been activated in the search for Dawn Bellamy and her two children who were allegedly abducted by their father.

Fort St. John RCMP has grounds to believe that Jason Dalrymple has taken Dawn Bellamy and her two children against their will from their residence in Fort St John and they are in danger while in his presence. The mother and her children were last seen at approximately 11 am on March 24.

The suspect is believed to be heading east, possibly to Ontario.

Jason Dalrymple is 5’11”, weighs approximately 200 pounds, often wears hats/toques as he is bald on the top of his head. He has blue eyes, has a moustache/goatee, which is light brown and reddish in colour.

Persons believed to have been taken:

Dawn Bellamy is an Indigenous person, 5’5”, weighs 110 pounds, has long, dark brown hair, has brown eyes, and may be wearing blue glasses. She has a scar on her forehead.

Below is a description of the children:

Liam Bellamy is a male child, age 4, approximately four years old, approximately 40 pounds, has dark drown and black hair, similar to his mother. He has short hair, which are curly when long.

Myra Bellamy is 10 months old female child, weighs 25 pounds, has very light hair (appears to have no hair due to lightness), has blue and hazel eyes.

The suspect is driving in a 2004 Olive Green Jeep Grand Cherokee, whose licence number is BCL HT184A. They also have two dogs and a cat with them.

The police are asking the public’s assistance in locating Dawn Bellamy and her children, Liam or Myra. If you see them or the suspect and his vehicle, do not approach, call 9-1-1.
