This November Bespoke Market’s community of creators are back for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience hosted at the Railway Museum of British Columbia.
From November 11 through November 13, shoppers can explore, discover, and purchase from a highly curated selection of handcrafted, artisanal items such as jewelry, art, ceramics, slow fashion, hand-picked vintage clothing, wellness brands, and craft foods and beverages.
Shopping local to support community is at the heart of Bespoke, a market intended for discerning shoppers who purchase with intention and seek both unique and sustainable items in equal measure. A highlight, for those looking to update their winter wardrobes, is sure to be the variety of vintage clothing shops as well as handmade and sustainable apparel brands that are planning to showcase their wares.
Bespoke Market features some of the top artists, makers, and small shops within the province with vendors travelling as far as the Okanagan to share their goods. Find the vendor list here.
Founder and creator Shannon Lorenz makes the Bespoke Market different by elevating the shopping experience with carefully selected vendors and a re-envisioned space for shopping that feels inspirational. Besides perusing the wares and connecting with the makers directly, shoppers can enjoy interactive elements like live painting, DJ, food trucks, and an onsite tarot reader. “After the success of our spring and summer markets, it’s exciting to see people’s commitment to buying local and supporting small,” says Lorenz.
“We want the November market to inspire market visitors to shop thoughtfully and intentionally. These are the big impact actions that make all the difference in the success of small businesses.”
Shoppers and creative entrepreneurs are invited to connect with each other between markets via a variety of online platforms created by Lorenz for Bespoke Market including social media platforms, a newsletter, and a new online creator collective program set to open doors to a growing waitlist in the new year.
Lorenz’s goal is to serve creative entrepreneurs and build supportive communities through meaningful connections with these tools.
“It is my greatest wish that Bespoke continues to evolve into a market shaped by the very communities where these markets are hosted as we seek expansion plans for 2023.
