Bike counters to be installed on West 1st Street; expect lane closure

City of North Vancouver will be installing bike counters in the 900 block of West 1st Street.

The installation of permanent bicycle counters will take place today.

Eastbound & Westbound bike lanes will be closed during working hours, and traffic control personnel will be onsite.

This work will continue from 7 am to 5 pm today.

Here are some other projects that will continue to end of April.

Chesterfield and West 17th St: Construction of new intersection lighting. Lane closures in effect during work hours. Hours of work are from 7 am to 5 pm.

Edgemont Boulevard and Westmoreland Crescent: Construction of new intersection lighting. Lane closures in effect during work hours. Hours of work: 7am-5pm.

St. Andrews Ave and E Keith Rd: Construction of new crosswalk. Lane closures will be in effect during hours of work. Hours of work are from 9 am to 3 pm
