West Vancouver police is assisting the BC Coroner’s Service after a body was found in water under the Lions Gate Bridge.
The body was found yesterday evening.
“We did assist with the recovery of a body that was discovered in the water under the Lions Gate Bridge last evening,” said Constable Kevin Goodmurphy of the West Vancouver Police Department.
“There is nothing to indicate that this was diving-related, or any kind of a diving accident,” he said.
“We are now assisting BC Coroner’s Service who have taken over care of the body. At this point, there is no indication of foul play,” he added.
He didn’t provide any more details, and said police won’t be issuing any press statement.
