Burnaby RCMP seek help identifying suspect in indecent act

Burnaby RCMP seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and potential witnesses in an alleged indecent act. The incident occurred on Friday, September 8, at approximately 1:30 p.m. in a coffee shop in the 4800-block of Kingsway.

The victim called police immediately after the incident, however, the suspect was no longer on scene when police arrived.

The suspect is described as:

60-70 years old

Some facial hair

Grey hair (balding)

The suspect was wearing:

White linen long sleeve shirt

Matching white linen pants

Grey vest

Brown dress shoes

This incident occurred in a very public place, which is troubling and traumatic to everyone involved, said Corporal Mike Kalanj with Burnaby RCMP. If you can identify the man in the above photos or can provide any information, please contact our investigators.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999. Please quote file 2023-31525.
