North Vancouver RCMP are investigating after a burnt body was found in bushes behind the Phibbs Exchange, according to a report by Global BC.
The incident happened yesterday.
According to the report, a fire at the homeless camp in the area behind Phibbs Exchange led to the person’s death.
“We sent our investigative services to the scene. At this point we don’t have any evidence that there was foul play involved, this does appear to be just a tragic, tragic accident,” Sgt. DeVries told Global BC.
Police and BC Coroners service are investigating this death.
