Capilano Mall bear spray assault under investigation

North Vancouver RCMP investigate a reported bear spray assault at Capilano Mall.

North Vancouver RCMP responded to reports of an assault involving bear spray at Capilano Mall at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Friday, according to a social media post from police.

Three employees of a business were affected during the incident. The suspects fled the area before police arrived. According to the social media post, investigators are actively working to identify the suspects and make an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311.

    They attacked to my jewelry store for robbery. It was not just a simple bear spray assault.
