Capilano University and Langara College have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate and create more opportunities for students and faculty.
The collaboration will enable students to access programs across both institutions, increase access to research and funding, cultivate learning opportunities and build greater awareness of the opportunities for students within the two institutions.
“While Capilano University and Langara College have collaborated in the past, this agreement elevates the relationship with an aim to create more mutual benefits for students and faculty across both institutions,” said Laureen Styles, PhD, vice-president academic & provost at Capilano University.
“Working closely with Capilano University, as we have done for several years, provides exciting opportunities for students from both communities,” added Margaret Heldman, provost, Langara College. “We look forward to exploring and expanding on this collaboration in the years ahead.”
The MOU, signed today at CapU in North Vancouver, is a five-year agreement with the opportunity to extend the term into the future.
