Capilano University says it will pause classes on Monday and Tuesday, March 16 and 17, and then shift away from in-person teaching to online teaching.
“Alternative forms of instructional delivery will resume remotely, or through other delivery methods,” the university said.
Capilano University said information related to exam schedules and examinations will be released soon.
“Instructors will advise their students as to the specific route that their classes will resume. Students are asked to monitor their email closely over the next several days for these instructions,” the university said in a statement.
Classes that do resume in person will require social distancing, as recommended by the province.
The university will remain open with usual operating hours while it transits to the new model for the remainder of semester.
