Celebrate Canada Day with more transit service

TransLink will increase transit service and extend hours on Canada Day to accommodate the large crowds that attend Canada Day festivities. It is making the following changes on Monday, July 1 until service hours end.

Canada Line
Rush-hour peak service after Canada Place fireworks until last train
Last train leaves Waterfront Station at 1:15 am

Expo Line
Last train from Waterfront to King George at 1:16 am
Last train from Waterfront to Lougheed Town Centre at 1:11 am
Last train from Waterfront to Production Way-University at 12:38 am

Millennium Line
Increased frequency throughout the evening
Last train departs VCC-Clark to Lafarge Lake-Douglas at 1:26 am

Bus
Night service will be extended on the following routes: 96B, 106, 130, 209, 230, 319, 320, 321, 410, 501, 555, 701
Buses will run a modified holiday schedule, for a full list of bus service changes visit translink.ca/alerts

SeaBus
15-minute service from 8 am to 11:30 pm
30-minute service from 11:30 pm to 1:22 am
Last sailings: Waterfront Station at 1:22 am and Lonsdale Quay at 1:00 am

West Coast Express will not operate on Canada Day.

At Waterfront Station, access is being modified to ensure customer comfort and safety during crowded periods:
After 4 pm, the Cordova Street doors to Waterfront Station will be entrance only
After 9pm, the east and west doors of the station will be exit only
Canada Line, Expo Line, and SeaBus customers will enter one of three queueing lines on the north side of West Cordova Street.

As a reminder, transit fares will increase starting July 1 to help support the largest transit expansion in almost a decade. For details, visit translink.ca/farechange.
