City of North Vancouver said it is removing parking at key locations in Central Lonsdale to allow more room for physical distancing, with space for line ups and pedestrians.
The three locations from where the parking is removed are at grocery stores: 118 West 15th Street, 1860 Lonsdale Avenue, and 2011 Lonsdale Avenue.
“We’ve temporarily removed some parking spaces to allow extra space for patrons and pedestrians to physically distance near local grocers,” CNV said.
The parking has been temporarily removed, city said, adding that the removal will add more space for people to line up in front of businesses while leaving a path for pedestrians.
CNV didn’t say when the parking will be reinstated.
