City of North Vancouver will be lighting up The Shipyards next week.
“We’re lighting up The Shipyards again with a warm and elegant display for you and your household or core bubble to enjoy,” CNV said.
Mayor Buchanan will be lighting the tree at the foot of Lonsdale, and the lights will be on daily, from sunset onwards, from November 28 to January 4.

CNV will be sharing a video of Mayor Buchanan doing the honours on its social media channels.
“Next week we’re celebrating the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree in the Shipyards District, as well as the start of the holiday season! The event will be shared online so that you can watch from the comfort of your own homes. This holiday season is going to be very different, like most important events and traditions this year,” she said.
She is also encouraging residents to connect with her on twitter and share plans on how citizens are planning to celebrate this year.
She also thanked the sponsors, Seaspan and Peak Technology, for the lights.
“Like so many things this year, the holiday season is going to be a little different than we’re used to. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be merry and bright.”
