The District of West Vancouver is inviting the community to honour and pay tribute to the veterans by joining the Remembrance Day parade.

On November 11, the Remembrance Day parade and ceremony will begin at 10:45 am in West Vancouver. The parade will start on Marine Drive at 18th Street and proceed to the cenotaph at Memorial Park, which is located between 19th Street and 20th Street, where the ceremony will be held.

The Royal Canadian Legion – West Vancouver Branch #60 holds the sacred trust of ensuring the tradition of Remembrance is observed by Canadians every year at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.

This service is for the public to gather and honour veterans and those currently serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

“We are honoured to pay tribute to our veterans whose sacrifices and courage protect our freedom and way of life,” says the District of West Vancouver.
