Staburn Marine Limited is holding a public information meeting for a condo project at the current site of the BlueShore Financial on Marine Drive.

Staburn has applied to build 32 market condos and 6, 896 square feet of commercial space in a four-storey building on 1080 Marine Drive.

There will be 76 parking spaces, with 62 spaces designated for residents and 14 for retail customers.

The public information meeting will be held by the developer at Capilano Elementary School, 1295 Sowden Street, on November 13, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The meeting is required as part of the application process. Citizens can meet the developer, and learn more about the proposal, ask questions and share thoughts.

Meanwhile, the District of North Vancouver is also hosting a public hearing for an updated coach house programme next week.

The public hearing will be held on November 19 at 7 pm at the council chambers at 355 West Queens Road.

Citizens will get a chance to express their views on a revised coach house programme. The aim of the programme is to increase the uptake of coach houses while integrating new coach house development with the surrounding neighbourhood.
