staff report
February 28, 2021 11:05am

Loblaws has issued a new notification about an employee testing positive at the Loblaws City Market at 1650 Lonsdale Avenue.

The alert was issued today.

“The team member tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19. The last day the team member worked was on February 21,” Loblaws announced today.

“We are committed to being transparent with our colleagues and our customers, and have all of our cases listed on our corporate website,” the company said.

Yesterday, Sobeys also issued a notification for an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at Thrifty Foods at 310 Edgemont Blvd. in North Vancouver.

The last day the employee worked there was February 23.

Sobeys says it will always follow the guidance of Public Health to support workers impacted by COVID-19.
