COVID-19 exposure warning for Vancouver restaurant and lounge

Vancouver Coastal Health has issued a new COVID-19 exposure warning for a restaurant and lounge in Downtown Vancouver.

VCH has issued a warning notification for those who visited the Pierre’s Champagne Lounge at 1028 Hamilton Street. The potential exposure occurred from July 31 to August 3, during evening and late night hours.

Another exposure alert has been issued for West Oak restaurant at 1035 Mainland Street in Vancouver. The potential exposure also occurred from July 31 to August 3, during evening and late night hours.

Yesterday, VCH also issued a alert about a potential COVID-19 exposure for  PumpJack pub at 1167 Davie St in Vancouver.

The potential exposure dates for the PumpJack pub are from July 31 to Aug. 1. The potential exposure time is from July 31 at 2 am to Aug. 1 at 2 pm.

As a precaution, people who visited these businesses should monitor themselves for 14 days.

There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times.

​​If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities.

If people develop any symptoms of COVID-19, they should seek testing and then self-isolate.

If you have been identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact, please know that VCH Public Health will contact you directly and provide further instruction.
