District of North Vancouver has closed Quarry Rock and Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge until further notice.
Enforcement will take effect as of 7 a.m. Sunday, March 22.
The District of North Vancouver said it took this unusual step as visitors were not following orders of the provincial health officer to maintain a physical distance of 2 metres, despite on-site signage and staff enforcing physical distancing at trail entrances.
To continue protecting the health and safety of residents and staff, the district has also closed its municipal hall, as well as playgrounds in district parks.
