A popular café shop is expanding into a new location in North Vancouver. The next home of Delany’s Coffee will be in Moodyville in North Vancouver, the coffee shop recently announced on social media.

The new coffee shop will open in a new development that is being constructed on the corner of 3rd street and St David’s Avenue.

“Right now it’s an empty lot and a ways away from looking like this but we hope these renderings will help you imagining sipping a Delany’s coffee steps away from Moodyville Park,” the company said.

Delany is planning to open the Moodyville location in 2024.

The popular coffee shop has three existing locations in Lynn Valley, Dundarave, and Edgemont.

Your readers may be interested in what sets Delany’s coffee shops apart from the others. A bit of history: In the winter of 1993, they started a small roadside kiosk that was no more than 200 square feet. They made and served coffee by day and did baking at night. When the opportunity to take a great space on Denman Street they risked it all – putting their family home on the line with the bank, and opened their first Coffee shop. After four years of working the store day and night , they felt they had the recipe and the experience to open up their second store in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver. Then opened their Dundarave store in 1999, Park Royal Village in 2005, and Lynn Valley Village in 2008. In addition to having great coffee and baked goods, they are all part of a growing family business, and my go to coffee shop.
