The District of North Vancouver crews will resume removing hazardous trees in William Griffin Park next week after previously scheduled work was delayed.
In an advisory, the District said approximately 33 trees will be taken down from the former sports court area, which has already been demolished. Visitors should expect temporary trail closures between the parking lot and the pedestrian bridge.
The advisory noted that, for safety, park-goers should stay out of the work zone, keep dogs leashed, and follow all posted signs and flagger instructions. The tree removal is scheduled from Tuesday, Jan. 27, through Monday, Feb. 2.
