Residents can attend a public hearing on Feb. 3 to review rezoning and community plan changes for a new townhouse development on Glenaire Drive.
Staff report
January 30, 2026 9:41am

The District of North Vancouver will hold a public hearing on Tuesday on a proposed 12-unit townhouse development at 1883 and 1901 Glenaire Drive.

The hearing starts at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at 355 West Queens Road, with options for both in-person and online attendance.

According to the District, the council will consider rezoning the property from single-family residential to a comprehensive development zone that would allow the townhouse project.  The proposal also requires changing the Official Community Plan designation to permit higher-density multifamily housing on the site.

The new zoning would establish rules for building density, setbacks, height limits, parking requirements and stormwater management for the development.

Residents can sign up to speak at the hearing by emailing the Corporate Officer before 3 p.m. Tuesday. Written submissions can be sent by email or mail to 355 West Queens Road before the hearing begins. The District said no further public input will be accepted once the hearing concludes.

Those joining electronically can participate via Zoom. Copies of the proposed bylaws are available at the District office or online at DNV.org/agenda.
