North Van RCMP ticketed a driver who had installed a photocopy of a licence plate on his car.
A North Van RCMP traffic officer recently stopped a driver when the officer noticed something looking a bit “off” about a car’s front license plate.

It turned out the officer had good reasons for suspicion: the ” licence plate” was actually a photocopy of a licence plate.
The driver told the officer it had been taped to the bumper in an effort to “improve the vehicle’s performance”.
“It seems the driver didn’t consider abiding by traffic laws to be a sign of good performance,” police said.
The driver was given a $109 ticket for not carrying plates.
