Drop-ins resume at North Vancouver rec facilities

Drop-ins are now available at North Vancouver recreational facilities, and advance registration is not required.

Residents can now walk into a facility and participate in the activities listed below.

Fitness centre (weight room)

Public swim, lane swimming, water walking

Family skate, public skate

Parent Participation Playtime

Art studios (not including pottery studios)

Certain JBCC family and seniors drop-ins

Youth centres

“This provides the opportunity to arrive at a facility and participate in some of our most popular activities without the need to book or pay in advance,” NVRC says.

However, pre-booking will continue to be offered for following activities:

Masters Swim

Aquafit

All Fitness Membership Classes

The drop-in schedules and more details can be viewed here or on the Drop-in schedules page.

There is no longer a “Book” button, and no registration will be available either online or via 604-987-7529 for the activities that are now drop-in.
