Elizabeth May — leader of the Green Party of Canada and Member of Parliament for Saanich-Gulf Islands — will join party candidate Dana Taylor to boost his campaign launch on Saturday, September 14, at the Gleneagles Golf Course Clubhouse.
With no incumbent running, and the NDP yet to name a candidate, the West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country riding has never been more wide open, says a party press release. Green Party support is at an all-time high in B.C. and the party feels good about Dana’s chances in the riding, it adds.
“It is wonderful that Elizabeth May will join us Saturday. This is an acknowledgement of the momentum and growing support that we are hearing about on the doorstep,” says Taylor.
