An employee at a Real Canadian Superstore at 333 Seymour Boulevard has tested positive for COVID-19.
An employee who worked at the Real Canadian Superstore tested positive for COVID-19 on September 24.
“We are committed to being transparent with our colleagues and our customers, and have all of our cases listed on our corporate website,” the company said.
September 24 was the last day of the employee’s work.
“Following all presumed positive cases at each location, the stores conducted additional cleaning, and worked closely with the local Public Health teams. Any employees who may have been directly exposed are home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms,” Loblaws said.
Shoppers Drug Mart at the Shops at Mission Hills, Dave’s No Frills in Dawson Creek, and Hector’s Your Independent Grocer in Squamish are other Loblaw managed stores where employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Rockridge Secondary School in West Vancouver School District has also been added to the VCH school exposure list.
The exposure dates are from September 23 to 24.
Caulfield Elementary and Sentinel Secondary were earlier added to the COVID-19 exposure list.
There has been one new health-care facility outbreak at Haro Park Centre long-term care facility in Vancouver today.
As many as 14 long-term care or assisted-living facilities and three acute-care facilities have active outbreaks.
“There have been no new community outbreaks, although there continue to be community exposure events around the province, BC Government said.
