There are reports of a fire at two masonic lodges in Lynn Valley and Lonsdale Avenue.
In a Twitter update, District of North Vancouver is asking locals to avoid the areas.
“Note there are reports of a fire on Lynn Valley Road east of Mountain Highway in addition to the reported fire on Lonsdale. DNVFRS is on scene at Lynn Valley Road. Please avoid the area,” DNV said.
Meanwhile, road closures are in effect in the City of North Vancouver.
According to North Vancouver RCMP, Lonsdale Avenue is closed between 13th Street and 8th Street.
Lynn Valley Road is closed between Mountain Highway and Allan Road. Please use alternate routes.
