North Vancouver RCMP dealt with a high volume of calls on Halloween night, responding to incidents ranging from mischief and fights to arson and impaired driving collisions. Fireworks complaints made up a large portion of the calls, marking one of the busiest evenings of the year for officers.
According to a social media post by North Van RCMP, officers also attended domestic incidents and disturbances across the community. The department said patrols were increased to manage the surge in activity.
