Four men were arrested yesterday by the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team in North Vancouver in connection with an ongoing investigation led by the Vancouver Police Department’s Major Crime Section.
Police allege the suspects forcibly entered a residence and confined a 45-year-old man inside a residence near Dollar Road and Dollarton Highway. Police believe the victim was specifically targeted. The victim was safely rescued and sustained minor injuries. All four suspects remain in custody at this time.
Out of an abundance of caution, a North Vancouver elementary school was placed on lockdown procedures until the incident was resolved.
