Come to the Shipyards District for a free music festival with ‘stellar music, food trucks, beer gardens, and local art and goods for sale’.

The Shipyards festival will take place on Saturday, September 17, from noon to 10 pm, at The Shipyards District in Lower Lonsdale. It’s not just for the adults. There will also be a Family Zone with face painting, balloons, crafts and kids music stage at the Pipe Shop on Victory Ship Way.

“That’s 79,000 square feet of space for kiddos to play and explore the day away with music from Mom Bop, Robin Reddy and more,” says the Shipyards Festival.

There will be four live music stages for bands like Said the Whale, Yukon Blonde, and Rain City, as well as food trucks, artisan vendors, and special offers from The Shipyards District’s local businesses.

Parking is limited though, and Method Cycling is offering free “bike valet” for cyclists.
