Gallant Avenue has been temporarily closed by the District of North Vancouver due to heavy rain.
Gallant Ave is closed today until further notice due to the impacts of the ongoing and heavy rains on the Gallant Ave construction site and surrounding roadway.
Crews are on-site and residents may notice noise from generators.
“Please avoid the area. Flaggers are on site to direct traffic and busses are being rerouted with service ending at Mount Seymour Parkway and Deep Cove Road. A detour is in place along Cliffmont Rd for anyone who must access Deep Cove,” DNV says.
Another update will be posted later in the afternoon.
