Grand opening of new coffee shop in Seymour next week

STAFF REPORT
August 2, 2020 9:00am

United Strangers, a new coffee shop in Seymour, are inviting the community to attend their grand opening party.

The grand opening takes place on August 8 at 2740 Mt. Seymour Parkway. The event will take place from 9 am to 4 pm.

United Strangers is a corner store and coffee shop that offers a wide range of local and sustainable products inspired by the North Shore.

The say their goal is to provide a space that brings people together, locals and visitors alike, over their love for the high quality goods, coffee and vibes.

“We are stoked to celebrate a successful first month in business despite opening during a pandemic, said the owners, Joe and Christine Reid.

The revitalization of this little corner store clearly has deep sentimental value for many of the locals in the area, they said.

The owners and staff will be welcoming the community into their space, once known as Faye’s, for a day filled with good eats, local vendors and, of course, really good coffee.
The first 100 customers that day will receive a complimentary, special edition, United Strangers cookie baked especially for the event by Scrumptious.

The complete drink menu will be available for purchase as well as a wide selection of baked goods from Modern Pantry, grocery items, cleaning products, NOVEL SUPPLY CO. conscious apparel and more.Other local vendors and organizations will include Sophie’s Flower Pedals Mobile Flower Truck, North Shore Mountain Bike Association and Culture Craft Kombucha on tap.
