Green leader Elizabeth May to make stop in West Vancouver

This will be the third time she will make a stop in the West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea-to-Sky Country
Staff report
October 16, 2019 5:22pm

Green Leader Elizabeth May will make a campaign stop in West Vancouver this Saturday.

She will join Green Party candidate Dana Taylor and his supporters at the Ferry Building in Ambleside at 11:15 am for the campaign rally.

The group will then proceed to the Lion’s Gate Bridge for a mass sign wave. This will be the third time she will make a stop in the West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea-to-Sky Country.

“With only a four days left to campaign, the federal leaders are focussing their efforts on key swing ridings,” said Dana Taylor, the federal party candidate for the riding.

“The riding is shaping up to be a competitive three way race, with Greens offering a strong challenge to the traditional parties. None of the other party leaders have visited the riding during this campaign, we will know by Monday night if they were right to take it for granted,” Taylor said.

May’s Lower Mainland tour will culminate Saturday, at 7pm, in a Great Big Green Rally at the Vancouver Convention Centre, where she will be joined by all Lower Mainland Green Party candidates and special guest speakers.
