Grouse Mountain has become the latest ski resort in area after Cypress and Whistler Blackcomb to shut down operations because of concerns over COVID-19.
The resort said it will suspend resort operations until further notice, beginning at 6 pm, Monday, March 16.
“In light of the growing need to encourage social distancing we have made the difficult decision to suspend our operations. We know that this is disappointing news and we did not take the decision lightly,” the resort said.
During this period there will be no upload or download access to/from the Mountain and all mountaintop and base activities and facilities will be closed.
