November 15, 2019 8:54am

It’s time to help North Shore children and families in need with gifts for the holiday season.

The West Vancouver Emergency Services Gift Drive is on for another year.

From November 15th through December 13th, West Vancouver Police and West Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services will collect new unwrapped toys and non-perishable food donations for delivery to the Family Services Christmas Bureau of the North Shore.

You are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gift items for children and youth to any of the following West Vancouver locations:

West Vancouver Police Department – 755 16th Street – 9a-5pm Monday-Friday – Public Atrium Entrance
West Vancouver Fire Hall #1 – 760 16th Street
West Vancouver Fire Hall #2 – 6272 Marine Drive
West Vancouver Fire Hall #3-  4895 Marine Drive
West Vancouver Fire Hall #4 – 965 Cross Creek Road
Cypress Corner Children’s Centre – West Vancouver Community Centre – 2121 Marine Drive

West Vancouver Emergency Services are grateful for community support over the 14 years that they have teamed up on this toy drive.

Please note they can not accept cash donations, used toys or stuffed animal toys.

For more information on how to support their drive, contact Cst. Jeff Palmer of the WVPD Community Services Team at 604-925-7429.
