Hollyburn House Retirement Residence in West Vancouver is clear of COVID-19 outbreak, the second facility on the North Shore that has been given the all-clear by the province.
Inglewood Lodge in West Vancouver has also been cleared of COVID-19 outbreaks, although a clinical error by the government stated there was a reoccurrence on April 16.
“We can confirm a clerical error incorrectly stated a new case of COVID-19 at Inglewood Lodge in West Vancouver. Today we have corrected our online reports,” according to a statement from the BC Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, two workers at the Amica Edgemont Village have tested positive for COVID-19 two days ago.
In a statement, Amica said Vancouver Coastal Health notified them about the two team members on Thursday, April 16.
One is a housekeeper who last worked on April 9. The second case is a maintenance worker who last worked on April 13, and tested positive the next day.
According to the latest update, only three long term care facilities on the North Shore have COVID-19 outbreaks: Amica Edgemont Village, Berkely Care Centre, and Lynn Valley Care Centre.
