The District of West Vancouver residents will get a second look at revised development plans for the 12-lot Union Court subdivision, including new apartment buildings on multiple lots.
In an update posted, the District of West Vancouver noted that the applicant previously held a public meeting on October 3, 2024, outlining plans for stacked townhouses on Lots 4 to 6 and apartment buildings on Lots 7 to 10 and Lots 11 and 12. The three single-family homes on Lots 1 to 3 along Skilift Road are set to remain.
The applicant has since removed the proposed townhouses on Lots 4 to 6, replacing them with an apartment building designed to match the other proposed buildings.
The applicant will host a public information session on Feb. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Welsh Room at the West Vancouver Memorial Library, 1950 Marine Drive. This is an applicant-led session on a preliminary proposal and not a District-organized event.
The District noted that the plans are still preliminary and there is no formal rezoning application has been submitted. Future proposals will be assessed under the Official Community Plan and the Development Procedures Bylaw, which includes ongoing public consultation.
