After selling out shows across Eastern Canada, Black Dog: The Spirit of Led Zeppelin is heading to British Columbia for the first time.
The Montreal-based tribute act is set to perform at North Vancouver’s Centennial Theatre on May 8, 2026, with tickets already on sale. The show marks the band’s first-ever appearance on the West Coast.
In a press release, organizers announced that Black Dog has performed more than 250 concerts and built a reputation for delivering an authentic recreation of Led Zeppelin’s iconic sound, from soaring vocals and multi-layered musicianship to pristine audio quality.

The four-piece band features Demetrio Maso on drums, Frank Larouche on bass and keyboards, Felix Rodriguez on guitar, and Ariel Coulombe on lead vocals. According to the press release, Coulombe’s vocal range and stage presence are described as so convincing that audiences will feel like Robert Plant himself is in the room.
The setlist is expected to span some of Led Zeppelin’s most beloved tracks. The press release noted that audiences can look forward to songs including Whole Lotta Love, Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, Immigrant Song, Rock and Roll, and Black Dog, among others. “Close your eyes, you will swear you’re back in the early 70’s,” said bassist Frank Larouche.
The evening will also feature a special guest opener: Crisprr, a rising rock band from Kelowna that was voted the city’s 2025 fan favourite, the press release noted.
