A North Vancouver dining fixture is preparing to close its doors for the last time, marking the end of a two-decade run in the heart of the Lonsdale community.
In an Instagram post, the Burgoo announced it will serve its final guests on March 29, bringing to a close 20 years of what it described as far more than just food — a gathering place filled with “laughter, connection, celebrations, and countless memories.”

According to Burgoo, the space had become deeply woven into Lonsdale’s life, serving as a community hub where residents marked milestones and shared moments over the years.
With just days remaining, the restaurant is extending an open invitation for guests to stop in before the March 29 closing date. The team hopes visitors will “come by, share a meal, and help us celebrate all the memories we’ve created together.”
“With full hearts, thank you for 20 amazing years,” the Instagram post concluded.
