Councilor Matthew Bond has joined the 2022 mayoral race, and will be competing for votes with incumbent Mayor Mike Little for the top seat at the District of North Vancouver.
The last day to file nominations was yesterday.
In DNV, there are 13 candidates vying for six positions on council: Clayton Welwood, Peter Teevan, Jim Hanson, Jordan Back, Herman Mah, Trey Bell, Catherine Pope, Ellison Mallin, Betty Forbes, Lisa Muri, Greg Robins, Harrison Johnston, and Thomas Tofigh.
George Tsiakos, Kulvir Mann, Linda Munro, Cyndi Gerlach, Michael Gerald Peterson, Jennifer Branston, and Layne North are running for school board trustee. On October 15, District residents will vote for and elect a mayor, six councillors, and four school trustees in the 2022 General Local Election.
Eligible voters can vote in any of 20 voting places located throughout the District on general voting day (October 15) or participate in advance voting.

Parkgate Community Centre — October 8 and 10 (8am to 8pm)
