It was just a routine stop for groceries – that is, until Kevin Capper found out he was $1 million richer after winning a Maxmillions prize from the October 14, 2022 Lotto Max draw.
The North Vancouver resident validated his ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore on Mount Seymour Parkway, and then on the Lotto! App.
“I was most excited to share the news with my wife, but my wife didn’t believe me,” recalled Capper.
On how it feels to win?
“I’m shocked. This will provide security more security – the first thing that crossed my mind was that I never thought it would happen to me.”
Capper purchased the winning ticket at the Save-On-Foods on Brooksbank Avenue in North Vancouver.
