The North Shore Bike Park in Capilano Mall has launched a new program designed especially for preschoolers and kids up to seven years old. North Shore Bike Park is BC’s largest bike park and it opened at the former Sears store in Capilano Mall this past July.

The ‘Lil’ Shredders is a thrilling initiative generously sponsored by GT Bikes and Dick’s Lumber, and it runs from 9 am to 11 am on weekdays, giving youngsters exclusive access to the largest indoor pump tracks and street zone in BC.

Kids won’t have to share the tracks with larger, faster riders during this time as this time is reserved for just the little ones and their biking adventures. There is also a free Wi-Fi for locals to stay connected while the little shredders have a blast. “It’s not just about biking; it’s about building a biking community too, so you and your kids can make new friends along the way,” says the bike park.

The young riders will also receive wristbands granting them all-day entry to the park, and there will be discounts at participating food outlets in the mall. Group rates and instruction are also available.

Visit the North Shore Bike Park’s website at www.northshorebikepark.ca or shoot them an email at reception@northshorebikepark.ca for more information and bookings.  North Shore Bike Park is also working on a grand-opening event on November 4, from 12 pm to 2 pm, an exciting event filled with music, delicious appetisers and refreshing beverages.
